Bob Young of the Arizona Republic reports: With the trading deadline less than a week away, the Phoenix Suns aren't likely to be involved in any deal because of the looming luxury tax and an expected higher payroll for next season. "It's unlikely we make any moves as we approach this deadline, but prior to next season, we'll be attempting - as will every team in the league at the (tax) threshold - to reduce that salary amount," said Suns President and general manager Bryan Colangelo. |
