Mark Montieth of the Indianapolis Star reports that Pacers forward Ron Artest could face a league suspension after raising his middle finger to the fans.

Artest was hit with a quarter after the Cav's Jumaine Jones was ejected after recieving a technical foul for arguing a foul call. Artest responded by laughing a walking towards the crowd with his gesture in place.

"I got hit with a quarter, but I don't care," he said. "I'm stronger than a quarter.

"I was just playing to the crowd."

Artest didn't feel he would get suspended.

"There's no suspension," he said. "I'm not concerned. Nothing happened."

Darius Miles said Artest is the reason the Pacers are physical and hae a defensive presence- and insinuated there was nothing wrong with the way Artest plays.

"He's their Dennis Rodman," Cavs forward Darius Miles said. "He's their John Salley. He's their Bill Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn and all those big guys the Bad Boys had all in one.

"I don't see anything wrong with it. He's a hard-working player. If Ron Artest wasn't on that team, I don't really think they'd be as physical and have the defensive presence that they do have."
