There were enough potholes along the way in LaVell Blanchard's career at Michigan that he has grown comfortable with a bumpy ride.

But the fear that he could be nearing the end of the road, as a basketball player, is an unsettling feeling for him.

Blanchard is one of 66 players participating this week at the NBA predraft camp at Moody Bible Institute in downtown Chicago. And like many of those here, including Michigan State's Aloysious Anagonye and Detroit Mercy's Willie Green, Blanchard arrived hoping to grab the attention of potential future employers, with hundreds of NBA general managers, coaches and scouts in attendance.

Instead, through the first three days of drills and scrimmages, Blanchard has raised more doubts than eyebrows.
