Steve Logan is finally in a Golden State Warriors uniform, though he is not on the team's regular-season roster. Logan played with the Warriors' summer-league team last week after spending a week working out for the Warriors' player personnel department. The Warriors had been concerned about Logan's physical shape, but he looked sharp in workouts and has averaged 12-15 minutes a game in the summer league. The former University of Cincinnati All-American guard was drafted No. 30 in 2002 by the Warriors. Logan was not guaranteed a contract and hasn't signed. Warriors spokesman Dan Martinez said Logan's spot on the summer-league roster in no way indicates that a deal will be reached between the two parties. Rather, the Warriors wanted to evaluate Logan before making a decision on whether to enter into negotiations with him and his agent. |
