The competition for the 12th roster spot on the Minnesota Timberwolves' roster just got a little more heated. On Tuesday, the Timberwolves signed forward Reggie Slater to compete with Kirk Penney, Quincy Lewis, Keith McLeod, Jason Collier and Brandon Kurtz for the final spot on the active roster. "We were talking to him earlier," Wolves coach Flip Saunders said. "And we decided to bring in another big-body guy. He'll fight for it and have an opportunity. I've always liked Reggie. I think he brings a different perspective." |
