CLEVELAND (AP) The Cleveland Cavaliers released guard J.R. Bremer on Wednesday and signed forward Lee Nailon to a 10-day contract. The club also placed guard Kedrick Brown on the injured list with tendinitis in his knee. Bremer, acquired in an offseason trade with Boston, shot just 29 percent from the field in 31 games. After making 6-of-9 3-pointers in the season opener, the Cleveland native was 13-of-57 from beyond the arc. Nailon played in 27 games this season for Atlanta, averaging 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds before being waived Dec. 29. He also signed two 10-day contracts with Orlando before being released. Nailon, a 6-foot-9 former second-round draft pick, had his best season in 2001-02 at Charlotte, averaging 10.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 79 games while playing for Cavs coach Paul Silas.
