ATLANTA (AP) Josh Davis is the latest minor-leaguer to get a tryout with the Atlanta Hawks.

Davis, a 6-foot-8, 240-pound forward, signed a 10-day contract Tuesday. He was playing with Idaho in the Continental Basketball Association.

The Hawks, who have only four players under contract for next season, are willing to give just about anyone a chance. Jason Collier signed a 10-day contract Monday and started that night against Cleveland, scoring a career-high 16 points.

Davis takes the roster spot held by Mamadou N'diaye, whose 10-day contract ran out.
