The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets announced today that they have waived forward Sean Banks. Banks was originally signed by the Hornets as an undrafted free agent on Oct. 1. He spent the first seven regular season games on the Hornets’ Inactive List before being assigned to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League on November 17. Banks has averaged 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists through 12 games with the 66ers.
