Nuggets rookie Julius Hodge was "dressed like a gang member" at a nightclub hours before he was shot and wounded, and someone had flashed a gang sign at him, the club manager said.

Hodge, 22, was released from a hospital on Sunday, a day after he was shot three times in the legs while driving on a north Denver freeway. Authorities said they have no suspects and have not established a motive.

"He had a bandanna over his head, and maybe they thought he was in a gang," Paladium club manager Jose Ramirez told the Rocky Mountain News in Tuesday's editions.
