ESPN is reporting that Speedy Claxton will join the Atlanta Hawks for a rumored $24 million over 4 years.

Many critics felt that the Hawks should have selected a point guard in this year's NBA draft, but they opted for big man Shelden Williams instead.

Claxton was a runner-up for the sixth man of the year award last season.
