Golden State's first round pick, Patrick O'Bryant has not been receiving much playing time, so Don Nelson offered the center a choice Monday: Take on extra practice duties with assistant Russell Turner, or prepare to join the Bakersfield Jam, Golden State's affiliate in the NBA Development League.

Not surprisingly, O'Bryant went for the former.

``He said, `What would you rather do, go down to D-League or stay here and just work with Russ?' '' O'Bryant said. ``And I said, `Well, I'd rather stay here working with Russ.' He's one of the winningest coaches ever, he's got to know what he's talking about.''
