The Clippers initially called the 76ers to determine their interest in Corey Maggette, whose agent, Rob Pelinka, recently asked the Clippers to trade his client, sources said.

The 76ers then steered the conversation toward Allen Iverson.

Philadelphia wants to acquire Shaun Livingston in any Iverson transaction, which is a deal-breaker for the Clippers.
