The Toronto Raptors announced Monday they have recalled rookie forward P.J. Tucker from the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League. Tucker was assigned to the Raptors’ affiliate in the D-League on January 5.

Tucker appeared in 14 games with the 14ers, averaging 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists. He tallied a personal best 16 points January 19 versus Anaheim.

Per NBA guidelines, Tucker remained on Toronto’s roster while in the NBDL and was put on the inactive list. At the current time, his status with the Raptors is unchanged. Tucker, 21, was selected by the Raptors in the second round (35th overall) of the 2006 NBA Draft. He had seen action in 16 games this season contributing 24 points and 20 rebounds in 71 minutes. He posted career highs of 12 points and nine rebounds December 19 at Phoenix.
