The NBA has assessed the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant a Flagrant 1 foul for a hit on Kyle Korver in the final moments of the first half Friday night in the Wachovia Center.

No foul was assessed by the referees at the time, but the league reserves the right to reclassify a foul or a non-call after reviewing the video.

If he were going to be suspended, the league would have had to act more quickly and review the play before the Lakers played Dallas on Sunday.

The Daily News reported yesterday that the play was being "looked at" by league officials, according to an NBA source.
