The Golden State Warriors have recalled rookie center Patrick O’Bryant from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Mullin announced today. O’Bryant, 20, has appeared in 25 games overall this season in three stints with the Jam, averaging 12.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.88 blocks in 29.6 minutes per contest. Over the last eight games, since being re-assigned to the Jam for the third and final time this season on March 8, the 7’0’’ center has averaged 14.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.75 blocks in 29.3 minutes per contest. During his latest assignment, O’Bryant shot 54.7% (47-86 FG) from the field and went 18-for-18 from the free throw line. Additionally, he grabbed 10-or-more rebounds six times and posted four double-doubles over the last eight games.
