Devin Brown, who expressed a desire to re-sign with the Hornets, has been contacted by five teams, a league source said Thursday.

It appears the Hornets are waiting to see what the market dictates before they decide if they will offer Brown a contract.

Before free-agency began Sunday, it appeared Brown had the best chance to return among the Hornets' six free agents that also include Desmond Mason, Jannero Pargo, Brandon Bass, Marc Jackson and Linton Johnson.
