Vassilis Spanoulis finally got the release he so desperately wanted from the San Antonio Spurs this week, but the Greek guard has insisted he has no regrets about moving to the NBA last year.

The 25-year-old is training with the Greek national team this week in the buildup to the EuroBasket, and he is expected to re-sign with Panathinaikos in the coming days as he closes the door on an unhappy spell in the NBA with the Rockets.
