Doug Christie worked out for members of the Portland Trail Blazers front office on Wednesday, his first audition while on the comeback trail.

Christie was excited that the Blazers requested a workout and was pleased with how he showed his health and skills.

“They told my agent that they were highly impressed and that I was the best on the floor,” Christie told RealGM. “They also said I was in excellent shape and ready to play. I’m very happy with the outcome.”

Christie also has a workout scheduled with the Seattle Supersonics in the coming days.

“I’ve worked very hard to get back to 100% and I’m very excited with how I played in Jamal Crawford’s summer league here in Seattle this summer,” said Christie. “I’m very ready to get back out there on the court this season.”
