Veteran guard Kevin Ollie has been almost invisible since the team began its exhibition schedule last week.

One of the rare sightings on the court came Friday, when team president and general manager Billy King presented the 6-foot-3 Ollie with a wristwatch to celebrate his decade-long NBA career. The Sixers (0-3) lost to New Jersey that night.

"It's been some trials and tribulations, but I got through it," said the 34-year-old Ollie, who has played for 10 NBA teams.

Ollie has been limited by a strained groin, but Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks said he is not worried about the guard being ready for the regular season.

"You know what you're going to get from Kevin Ollie," Cheeks said after Ollie scored eight points against the Wizards. "He's a veteran who's been around for a long time."
