The Dallas Mavericks announced the signing of veteran forward Juwan Howard on Thursday. Per club policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 34-year-old Howard is set to join the Mavericks in practice on Thursday and may suit up for Friday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

"(Getting Howard) was too big of an opportunity to pass up," said Dallas president of basketball operations Donn Nelson. "Juwan is a winner."
