The Houston Rockets are set to honor the contributions made by Hakeem Olajuwon to the team with a monument outside of the Toyota Center on April 11, the Associated Press is reporting.

According to the report, organizers said they worked hard to ensure that the monument complied with Olajuwon's Islamic beliefs. It will not include a likeness or picture of the champion Rocket center.

"It's a wonderful monument to the greatest player in the history, I think, of Houston sports, and one of the greatest players of all time in the NBA," Rockets' owner Leslie Alexander said.
