Behind 41 points by Tracy McGrady, the Houston Rockets won their 18th consecutive game on Saturday night, beating New Orleans 106-96 to take over third place in the tight Western Conference.

According to the Houston Chronicle, it was the playoff positioning which was the focal point for McGrady.

"Third spot," McGrady said. "That's all it was. Third spot. Third spot. Once I heard that, I was like, 'OK, let's get it done.' Third spot."
