Isiah Gives Chandler 'Vote Of Confidence'

With Eddy Curry out for the season, Isiah Thomas plans to play rookie Wilson Chandler major minutes, according to the New York Post.

However, Zeke doesn't appear to be all that confident in the first-round picks' abilities.

"Right now he gets beat by the veteran savvy of other players," Thomas said. "I try to start him and let him play against some of the top guys and they are having their way with him."

"I like his competitiveness. I'd like to see him a little more involved offensively. Right now he is strictly out on the floor playing as a defender," he added. [READ]
