Hawks Move Into Tie For Eighth Seed

The Hawks moved into a tie for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a win over the New York Knicks on Sunday night, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Knicks are among the league's worst this season, but it took a key third-quarter run to ensure an Atlanta victory.

"They were playing hard, but we felt like if we went at them and tried to pour it on a little bit we could take control of the game," said Marvin Williams. "We're at our best when we do our work early. And we had a chance to get it going and we didn't hesitate." [READ]
