The Nuggets hope to avoid NBA history as the regular season winds down, according to the Associated Press.

No team in league history has won 50 games and failed to reach the postseason, something Denver is on track to accomplish with fourteen games left in their season.

"I've never seen anything like it. I call it the Halley's Comet year of the NBA," Nuggets' Coach George Karl said. "Once every 99 years something like this happens. Why I have to be a part of it, I want to know why." [READ]
