Kansas State freshman Michael Beasley, projected to go first overall in the 2008 RealGM mock draft, is one of four finalists for the Naismith Player of the Year award, the Kansas City Star is reporting.

The other finalists are North Carolina’s Tyler Hansbrough, UCLA’s Kevin Love, and Memphis’ Chris Douglas-Roberts
