Report: Thorn Says Frank Is Safe In New Jersey

Rod Thorn doesn't plan on firing Nets' Head Coach Lawrence Frank at the end of the season even if the team misses the playoffs, according to ESPN.com.

"I don't have any thoughts or ideas of replacing him at all," Thorn told the Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J. "He's done a good job for us, and I'm sure he'll continue to do so in the future."

The Nets currently trail the Hawks by a half-game for the final playoff spot in the East. [READ]
