Wilcox Wants To Remain With Sonics

Chris Wilcox is under contract with the Seattle SuperSonics through next season, and he said on Friday that he'd like to remain with the organization beyond his current contract, the Seattle Times is reporting. Wilcox would like to sign an extension in the off season.

"It's definitely a situation that I fit," said Wilcox, who the Seattle Times says turned down a five-year, $62 million deal in 2006. "I'm getting plenty of time, and I'm helping this team. Whatever comes at the end of the season, that's who I'm with." [READ]
