The Chicago Bulls used a strong fourth quarter to knock off the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. Larry Hughes had 25 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds while Ben Gordon added 24 points off the bench for the Bulls, who hit 53% of their shots and kept the pressure on Cleveland defensively. LeBron James notched 33 points and 5 rebounds, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 23 points and 7 boards for the Cavs, who outrebounded Chicago by eight and scored 16 points off turnovers. Drew Gooden, who was traded from Cleveland to Chicago in February, did not play due to an abdominal strain.

Kevin Martin tallied 26 points, and Mikki Moore added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the Kings, who scored 22 points of Los Angeles turnovers and held a distinct advantage from the foul line. Corey Maggette notched 28 points and 5 rebounds, and Elton Brand added 15 points and 9 boards off the bench for the Clippers, who outrebounded Sacramento by six and attempted thirteen more shots than the victorious Kings. Both teams have been eliminated from the playoff race for quite some time.

Tracy McGrady notched 35 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists while Dikembe Mutombo added 11 points and 5 boards for the Rockets, who went 11-for-22 from behind the three-point line and held Portland to just 39% shooting. LaMarcus Aldridge had 23 points and 4 rebounds, and Travis Outlaw added 14 points and 6 boards for the Blazers, who outrebounded Houston by nine and dominated the paint. Portland has been eliminated from the playoff race in the Western Conference but are still looking to record their first winning season in quite some time.
