Paul had 16 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists and David West added 25 points and 9 boards for the Hornets, who hit 50% of their shots and scored 31 points off turnovers. Monta Ellis led the Warriors with 35 points and 10 rebounds, while Andris Biedrins contributed 17 points and 15 boards in New Orleans. Golden State momentarily slipped to a half-game behind Denver for the eighth seed in the West with the loss. Detroit shot 50% from the field and outrebounded Miami by eight on the road. Dwight Howard notched his customary double-double (13 points and 15 rebounds) and Hedo Turkoglu had 22 points and 6 assists for the Magic, who hit 40% of their shot attempts and committed six more turnovers than New York. The Lakers are still 1.5 games behind New Orleans for the top seed in the Western Conference. Carmelo Anthony posted 38 points and 11 rebounds and Allen Iverson added 26 points and 13 assists for the Nuggets, who shot 50% and hit twelve three-pointers at KeyArena. Nick Collison (19 points and 14 rebounds) and Earl Watson (16 and 11 assists) both contributed double-doubles in Seattles win, while Marcus Camby (12 and 13 boards) added one for the Nuggets in the loss.
