Bryan Gates of the Idaho Stampede has been named the D-League's Coach of the Year for the second time, according to the NBA.com. The award, the Dennis Johnson Coach of the Year, was named for the former Boston great after he passed away while leading the Austin Toros in a practice. "For the second year in a row, Bryan Gates is being recognized for his commitment to developing his players and delivering winning basketball to the Boise community," said D-League Vice President Chris Alpert. "Under his guidance, the Idaho Stampede has enjoyed another successful season, which included an 18-game winning streak." |
