Pacers Lose To Wiz, Hand Hawks 8th Seed

The Indiana Pacers lost a must-win game to the Washington Wizards on Monday night, eliminating them from playoff contention and handing the Atlanta Hawks the eighth seed.

In order to make the playoffs Indiana needed to win their final two games and watch Atlanta lose both of their remaining contests.

Danny Granger led the Pacers with 35 points and 9 rebounds, but the loss means that the team will miss the playoffs for the second consecutive season. [READ]
