Trail Blazers Request Waivers On Miles

The Blazers on Monday requested waivers on injured forward Darius Miles, a move to save money under the salary cap, as reported by the Associated Press.

A medical examiner and the players association determined the damage to Miles’ right knee is severe enough to qualify as a career-ending injury, GM Kevin Pritchard said in a statement. [READ]
