Minnesota's Wittman: Grace Period Is Over

Minnesota Head Coach Randy Wittman believes that his "grace period" with the team is over, according to the Pioneer Press.

He felt the goal for the team this season was to evaluate the young players on the roster and prepare for the future, which appears to be next season.

"You're moving now in a direction where you're not evaluating anymore," Wittman said Thursday. "I had to coach a little bit this year in living through some things that normally you're not going to accept on the floor because you're trying to figure out who these people are and what they can do. You very seldom come into a situation where we had as many people that we really needed to take a look at." [READ]
