Stephon Marbury is rehabilitating his ankle in Phoenix and hopes to return to the Knicks next season, according to the New York Daily News.

However, it is widely believed that Donnie Walsh is trying to trade the much-maligned point guard, who had a serious feud with now-former head coach Isiah Thomas.

A pair of the named coaching candidates in New York, Mark Jackson and Tom Thibodeau, have expressed interest in working with Marbury.
