Pistons Storm Back In Third, Tie Series

The Detroit Pistons used a huge third quarter to come-from-behind and even their best-of-seven series with the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night.

Trailing by ten at the half, the Pistons outscored the Sixers 34-16 in the third quarter to take control the game.

Tayshaun Prince had 23 points and 6 rebounds and Rasheed Wallace tallied 20 points and 10 boards for the Pistons, who forced nineteen Philadelphia turnovers.

Samuel Dalembert posted 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Sixers, while rookie Thaddeus Young contributed 15 points and 8 boards in the loss.

Philadelphia shot 48% from the field, against just 42% for Detroit.

The Pistons scored the first eleven points of the third quarter, turning their double-digit deficit into a one-point lead before the Sixers even scored in the second half.

Game Five will be in Detroit on Tuesday night.
