The Detroit Pistons beat the Philadelphia 76ers , 98-81, in a pivotal Game Five battle on Tuesday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Chauncey Billups had 21 points and 12 assists and Richard Hamilton added 20 points and 5 rebounds for the Pistons, who hit an astounding 58% of their shots while attempting twelve fewer free throws than Philadelphia.

Andre Iguodala finally had a relatively productive game for the Sixers, with 21 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, but a majority of Philadelphia's rotation struggled.

Louis Williams was the only other bright spot for the 76ers, scoring 16 points off the bench.

Philadelphia went just 2-for-7 from behind the three-point line in the loss and turned the ball over eighteen times.

Game Six will be Thursday night in Philly as the 76ers look to force a Game Seven back in Detroit.
