The Utah Jazz used a decisive third quarter run to eliminate the Houston Rockets , 113-91, in Game Six of their series on Friday night.

Deron Williams led with 25 points and 9 assists and Mehmet Okur tallied 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, who outrebounded Houston by nine and went 10-for-22 from behind the three-point line.

Tracy McGrady, trying to avoid yet another first-round exit, notched 40 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists, but it was not enough to force a Game Seven back in Houston.

Rookie Luis Scola added 15 points and 9 rebonds for the Rockets, who made just 38% of their shots and missed eleven important free throws.

Utah outscored Houston by sixteen in the third quarter, holding them to just eleven-points.

The Jazz will face the Lakers in Game One of their second-round series on Sunday. [READ]
