Andrew Perna/RealGM - The New Orleans Hornets used yet another strong second half to down the San Antonio Spurs , 102-84, in Game Two of their semifinal series on Monday night.
Chris Paul starred with 30 points and 12 assists while turning the ball over just once in the team's victory.
Peja Stojakovic scored 25 points, and David West added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Hornets, who hit 48% of their shots and outrebounded San Antonio by three.
The Hornets doubled the score of the Spurs in the third quarter, 36-18, to take control of the game and the series.
Tim Duncan improved upon his dismal Game One performance but still didn't look like himself as he muddled his way to 18 points and 8 rebounds.
Manu Ginobili tallied 13 points and 6 assists off the bench for the Spurs, who turned the ball over fifteen times and struggled from the field (42%).
New Orleans shot extremely well from behind the three-point line, going 10-for-17 for the game. Stojakovic was 5-for-7.
Game Three will be Thursday night in San Antonio as the defending champs look to rally back against the surging Hornets. [READ]
