Saunders Compares Prince To Garnett

Pistons' head Coach Flip Saunders has compared small forward Tayshaun Prince to Boston star Kevin Garnett, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Saunders coached Garnett for several seasons in Minnesota. The coach drew parallels between the two players especially in how they concede to the team's older veterans.

"The part of Garnett that I see the most in Tay is his personality," Saunders said. "I told him that he always wants to make the right play, and because of that, he'll defer."

"It's understandable when you're the youngest guy, and you've got great scorers all around you," Flip added. [READ]
