In a teleconference with reporters on Wednesday 76ers' GM Ed Stefanski admitted that retaining Andre Iguodala is the team's top priority this offseason, according to The Philadelphia Daily News.

"Iguodala is a very good basketball player. I think - I know - he's a guy we'd like to keep, going forward here," Stefanski said.

"Now, negotiations are negotiations," Stefanski said. "What I've said numerous times is, 'we're trying to get a 'team.' We're not built to run [the Detroit Pistons'] style, but if we can get a team like that and have a style we'd like to play, which is an up-tempo style, that would be our goal."

Iguodala is a restricted free agent and rejected an in-season offer to remain with the team over the long-term.

RealGM Note: Iguodala ranked 20th in the NBA using the Floor Impact Counter (FIC) as a guide. He also posted a Reina Value of +399, meaning that he 'deserved' to make more than the 76ers were actually paying him.
