Bulls' General Manager John Paxson is planning to meet with Avery Johnson regarding the team's vacant coaching position this week, according to The Chicago Tribune.

Some people doubt that Johnson and Paxson would see eye-to-eye within the same organization, but the former Bulls' guard still wants to go through the process of meeting with the former Spurs' guard.

Paxson lost out on Mike D'Antoni this past weekend when the former Phoenix coach agreed to a deal with the Knicks.
