Spurs' guard Manu Ginobili will carry the flag of Argentina during the opening ceremonies at the Olympics next month in Beijing, according to The San Antonio Express-News.

Ginobili was chosen over four other athletes despite the fact that he's not a lock to play for the country in the games.

Ginobili is expected to have an MRI on his left ankle next week.
