The Spurs plan to make a contract offer to free agent forward Corey Maggette, according to The San Antonio Express-News.

Two NBA sources claim that the team wants to make an offer to Maggette, whom they tried to trade for unsuccessfully a few seasons ago.

Spurs' GM R.C. Buford declined to comment on negotiations. The Magic and Celtics are also interested in Maggette's services.
