Bulls' chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and General Manager John Paxson met Wednesday with Luol Deng and his agent to stress their desire to re-sign the forward, according to The Chicago Tribune.
A similar meeting is scheduled with Ben Gordon on Thursday.
Chicago could extend an offer to Deng as early as Thursday, with only the 76ers, Grizzlies, and Warriors possessing the salary-cap space to extend an offer worth more than the mid-level exception of roughly $6 million.
