Elton Brand could make a decision on his future within the "next 24 to 48 hours", according to a report by ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Many around the league expect Brand to verbally commit to returning to the Clippers, allowing him to play alongside buddy Baron Davis.

Brand can earn more money in Golden State but could show his loyalty to Los Angeles by taking less to remain in town.
