Ron Artest expressed his desire to be traded earlier this week but would prefer not to land in Denver with the Nuggets, according to The Rocky Mountain News.

"I cannot play in Denver because they question my drive to finish my career off strong and not embarrass my family," Artest wrote in an e-mail on Sunday night. "Any player wants to win a championship is low risk."

It's unknown who spoke unkindly about Artest within the organization, if anyone did at all, but he has made it rather obvious that he doesn't want to play for Denver.

"That's not even an option to be a Nugget," he added. "They let me know how they felt about me already."
