The 2008 NBA champion Boston Celtics will raise their 17th banner at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 28th.

The Celtics will receive their title rings that night, as well, kicking off the 2008-09 NBA season in the process.

Two other games will take place on Opening Night, with the Bucks battling the Bulls in Chicago and the Blazers taking on the Lakers in Los Angeles.
