Free agent center D.J. Mbenga is still a possibility for the Lakers as they look to improve their frontcourt via free agency, according to Orange County Register.

Mbenga was reportedly an option in Miami, but the Heat opted to sign Jamaal Magloire instead.

Los Angeles added depth last month when they signed Josh Powell, but they have not closed the door on Mbenga.
