Rudy Fernandez has touched down in Portland and was immediately introduced to the media, according to a report by the Associated Press.

After arriving in the United States, the Spaniard received a warm welcome from Blazer fans, who chanted "Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!" before the guard was taken to the Rose Garden.

"It was a good surprise," Fernandez said. "When I arrived, I say, 'OK, let's go practice now. Let's go.'"
